REN SKINCARE is a clean, natural, plant based and mineral line. It offers a very efficacious and pleasurable application. I was recently introduced to REN and oh my goodness, it has been life changing. To start, I have very thin and sensitive skin. I am Chinese and have fair skin tone with Normal/Dry combination skin type. I’ve been using REN for four weeks and feel I have to share this with you!
REN is pretty amazing. It is formulated with no Parabens, sulfates, mineral oil, petrolatum, synthetic fragrance, synthetic colors, T.E.A, D.E.A, Glycols silicones, Phthalates, PEGS, etc.
The price points are very economical and affordable despite being so effective and gentle!
I was looking for a gentle exfoliator without the harsh abrasive feeling. That’s when my friend introduced Ren’s Rosa Centifolia Gentle Exfoliating Cleanser. It is so gentle but super effective and doesn’t irriate my super sensitive and dry skin!
This exfoliator contains jojoba oil to softens, nourishes and deeply hydrates! I love that they have included peppermint oil to cool and sooth. I love the feeling of feeling refreshed! It’s like a wake up call in the morning! It’s seriously amazing. Plus, a little goes a long way!
Rosa Centifolia No.1 Purity Cleansing Balm: Leaves skin cleans and not stripped pretty much sums this hero product! This rose infused cleansing balm gently melts away dirt and makeup. Even waterproof mascara! I used to want my skin feeling squeaky clean but learnt that it is not the best!
Best of all this cleansing balm is formulated without Parabens, Sulfates, Synthetic Fragrances, Synthetic Dyes, Petrochemicals, Phthalates, GMOs, Triclosan.
Flash Rinse 1 Minute Facial: I was initially scared that this mask would be too harsh on my sensitive skin and cause inflammation and redness. But I love how it feels on my skin. It makes my skin feeling fresh and smooth. It does do what it claims: irms, tones, and smooths. My skin feels brightened and glows.
It is formulated with potent water-activated Vitamin C it will neutralize urban grey in a flash, leaving skin looking firm, toned and smoothed, while reducing the signs of fatigue, photo-ageing and skin imperfections.
The product suggests to be used 3 times per week. I would recommend you stick to this and alternate between exfoliating and using this mask. Otherwise, you may overwork your skin too much! And, please don’t leave it on longer that 1 minute. More is not better.
Glycol Lactic Radiance Renewal Mask: This last product that I picked up from my REN Skincare haul. Similar to Flash Rinse 1 Minute Facial it targets to improve skintone texture, firmness, and radiance, while minimizing the appearance of pores and reducing sun damage, hyperpigmentation, and old acne scars.
Since entering my 30’s, my hormonal acne scars takes super long to clear. Almost as long as the next time my period comes. So frustrating! I like this potent bio active peel mask designed to renew the complexion and improve skin tone.
It is like a tropical cocktail of four AHAs (Alpha Hydroxy Acids) including glycolic acid from pineapple, lactic acid from passion fruit, citric acid from lemon, and tartaric acid from grape create multi-action exfoliation.
Honestly, I’m in love with REN Skincare! I love how gentle it is for my skin. I love how it deep hydrates. After every cleanse, I don’t have that “tightness” and dry patches on my skin. My skin looks brighter, healthier, and more radiant. Most of all, this “clean” efficacious beauty line has a pleasurable application!
If you are skeptical on trying a new line, I recommend their Seriously Good Kit C$48. It comes with 3 hero products.
