When I feel like my 10 minute fitness commitment just isn't going to cut it for the day, I know I need a good sweat! I am slowly getting back into the grind and it is hard AF and I'm not even going to lie about it. Life after having a baby is challenging. There is always an excuse available for procrastinating: too tired, too busy, too hungry, baby is fussing, baby is sleeping. But I know I need to get back into shape in order to keep up with baby and life itself. So I took an inventory of what was in my previous gym bag and what's in my gym bag now - essentials. only.

I use a 18L backpack (also available in 24L) from Ryu Apparel. I love the minimal and modern sleek design and their quick access compartments: drop front design opens for easy packing, organizing and accessing your gear. It is hard wearing and durable that keeps it's unique shape whether empty or full.
My makeup bag is from Lululemon. "Sweaty or Not Kit" is perfect for carrying sweaty gear and shower essentials. I also carry wet wipes, extra elastics, hair band and travel size toiletry set (shampoo, conditioner, body wash and body lotion) and BB Cream. Don't feel like washing your hair? A little bit of dry shampoo goes a long way! And I always keep my wireless earbud headphones with a built in heartrate monitor inside my makeup bag (otherwise I will lose them).
