Baby’s First Vacation with InCase

It’s been a long time since we went on vacation. We spent our last vacation in Asia for a month – before I was pregnant. We didn’t go on Babymoon. I wanted to be extra careful. I didn’t want to fly anywhere. While most of my friends went on Babymoons, I know I was probably overly cautious. Now that Baby is 9 months old, we feel like we need a break. We are finally going on vacation. We are going to Hawaii for the very first time. This hotel has the best view! Plus we can’t wait to lay on a beach and do nothing. This would be Baby’s first vacation. But first, what are Baby’s first vacation: travel essential packing list?

For this vacation we got a new carry on suitcase that is dedicated only for Baby. Emily is so curious as to what we are putting into the suitcase. She loves “helping”.

Me on the other hand loves that this suitcase comes in a dusty Millennial Pink colour. It has a TSA approved lock – which means no more annoying locks with keys. Looking for keys to open a suitcase when Baby is crying is the last thing I want to be doing!

It also comes equipped with an app controlled, 10050mAh battery bank. The detachable power bank is capable of simultaneously charging USB-C and USB devices. This InCase NoviConnected 4 Travel Roller has a battery pack that conveniently charges our MacBook’s USB-C charger and included 1.5 meter USB-C to USB-C cable. Perfect for when Baby needs to watch cartoons (or when we want to Netflix). Don’t you hate it when you are waiting at the airport and all the plugs are spoken for?

This NoviConnected carry on suitcase is constructed from class-A makrolon polycarbonate shell, polyester jacquard interior liner and removable, smooth glide wheels. It also has a spacious main compartment that fits Baby’s pineapple swimsuit, sleeper, baby’s eczema cream, some diapers (we are planning to buy a box of Huggies Little Movers when we arrive instead of filling our luggage with diapers), Saje’s children’s calming spray and oil, couple sets of clothes, onesies, bottles, and of course Toothy Pig.

We will also be bringing out Ergobaby Baby Carrier with us when Baby is tried from sitting in a stroller. I really feels like we are moving when packing for Baby’s first vacation. There is so much to bring! That’s why we also got this 100L suitcase for our things. It also has a super spacious main compartment with interior mesh pockets, laundry bag and protective nylon covering! Let’s face it, this suitcase really is 80% for my things and maybe 10% for Dave. The other 10% I am claiming for shopping!

Plus I love the smooth glide wheels that rotates 360 degrees!

When you go on vacation with Baby, don’t you feel like you are moving? What are some essential items that you bring with you? My friend suggested a travel playpen also. Is that too excessive?
