Gym Bag Essentials. What's in my gym bag? Or my everyday carry? There are a few items that you need in your gym bag to keep you going longer and harder! Living in Vancouver, BC definitely pushes me to work out harder with so many beautiful humans in the city. I try to schedule at least two spin classes with ClassPass a week and maybe a vinyasa yoga or TRX class if I am ambitious! Being a foodie is hard. I have to work out twice as hard.
Staying motivated is not always easy. That's why I like options. ClassPass gives me a good variety fitness studios.

PURO SOUNDS LAB - Bluetooth Wireless Headphones. I love that they are volume limited to prevent Noise Induced Hearing Loss. It is compatible with smartphones and tablets. Since it is Bluetooth 4.0 provides 30 feet of wireless freedom, working out with NTC is much easier. I also like using PURO's In-Ear Monitors Earbuds when I go running. They are the most comfortable headphones. It does great job of blocking out all other sound. Plus the sounds are amazing!
SHIMANO Women's Road Cycling Shoe: Typically spin studios will provide cycling shoes rental. But because spin a lot, I prefer having my own sweaty shoes. Shimano typically run small. So it is important to size up. Check if your local studio uses SPD Clips. I wear Size 8 Women's and that is a size 40 Shimano Women's SH-WR42 Road Cycling Shoe (similar here and here).
VEGA: I am a huge Vega fan! Seriously, I Vega breakfast, noon and spin! For breakfast, I count on the Vega One Nutritional Shake. So simple! You get all nutritional benefits required and it is vegan, gluten free, GMO-free! I love their Vega One and Snack Bars as a snack at work or before a long ride. My tip is eat half a bar before and after the workout! During the workout I like to fuel up on Vega Sport Electrolyte Hydrator in Berry flavor. Don't get Lemon Lime because that tastes like detergent. Berry is the way to go!
FRESH Soy Face Cleanser: 30K likes at Sephora isn't for nothing... This bestselling cleanser that instantly whisks away impurities and makeup! It's good to wash away sweat and grim after a sweaty sesh!
LUSH - Eau Roma Water Toner: After cleansing you face you need a soothing herbal toner to center balance. Rose and lavender oils help treat dryness, redness or irritation. Rose is particularly nourishing and cooling. Lavender helps your skin produce the right amount sebum (oil). Use whenever skin needs an extra boost!
HONEST Organic Healing Balm: Keeping a small tube of this all in one beauty balm is lifesaving. For all the nicks and cuts you get randomly working out. It is made from all natural, certified organic oils, extracts, and beeswax. It is the best balm ever and is super versatile. It is safe to use on diaper rash, irritated skin, eczema, minor cuts and scrapes.
LULULEMON Sigg Water Bottle: Staying hydrate is essential to any fitness regime. Drinking enough water helps prevents muscle spasms and helps detoxing. This Sigg bottle was purchased a long time ago. But I like it because it is stainless steel, reusable and holds a lot of water! Really, any bottle will do! Let’s get sweaty! BTW – I love their gym clothes so much that I sometimes wear it to the office! sshhh
