Hello Everyone! Spring came rather early for us in Vancouver this year, that it was almost unexpected. For myself, I hadn't stocked up on Allegra or other powerful antihistamines to keep me from crying or my nose from running uncontrollably that I look like Rocky after his last fight!
Yet, even though I suffer from your seasonal hay-fever, I have a love/hate relationship with these beautiful sakuras. They are so beautiful when the skies are blue and the sun is shinning. And even though the air is still chilly in the shade, I can't wait to wear my ugly Birkenstock sandals.
The only reasonable answer is because our toes deserves to be freed after winter long captivity!
The Vancouver Cherry Blossom Festival runs between April 2 to 29, 2015. But you can catch them all over town. A few very photogenic spots are: Burrard Skytrain Station, West 22nd Avenue (between Arbutus Street to Carnavon Street) and UBC Lower Mall (between Vanier Place to University Boulevard).
